The Merson family started Cobourg Construction in 1999 with a simple philosophy: do the work right, be honest about cost and timeline, and stand behind every project with your name. Twenty-five years later, that philosophy hasn’t changed, and neither has the team’s commitment to it.
Cobourg Construction is a design-build firm, which means we handle everything in-house: design, permits, framing, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, finishes. One contract, one point of contact, one team accountable for the entire project from first conversation to final walkthrough.
We’ve built custom homes, completed over 200 bathroom renovations, restored heritage properties, and delivered commercial builds across Northumberland County and Eastern Ontario. Every project is a direct reflection of our reputation in this community, and that means we take every project seriously, regardless of size.
