How much does a kitchen renovation cost in Cobourg?
Full kitchen renovations start at $50,000. That covers demolition, electrical, plumbing, cabinetry, countertops, tile and finish carpentry. A cosmetic refresh costs less; moving plumbing or removing walls costs more.
Do you supply the cabinets or do I buy them?
We supply and install both custom and semi-custom cabinetry, so the cabinets are part of one fixed contract rather than a separate order you have to coordinate. If you have already chosen cabinets elsewhere we can work with that too.
Can you replace just the countertops?
Yes, though it is worth checking the cabinets underneath first. Countertop replacement on sound cabinets is a small job. On cabinets that are already failing it is money spent twice.
Do I need a permit to renovate a kitchen?
Not for replacing cabinets, counters and fixtures in the same layout. You do need one for moving plumbing, altering electrical circuits, or removing a wall. We confirm what applies before work starts.
